Experience

Robert A. Jansey founded Jansey & Co., Ltd., and after 28 successful years, sold his firm, which was then merged into Cosgrave, Palinski & Associates, Ltd. In his current role as consultant with the firm, he advises on tax, audit, management and estate issues.

Bob's previous professional experience includes 12 years with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Chicago, where he was engaged primarily in the Banking and Financial Services Division.  He declined the Firm's offer of partnership due to the significant relocation required, and accepted a partnership with KMG Main Hurdman (now KPMG), where he became National Bank Holding Company Partner.  After 10 years, Bob resigned to open his own practice in 1984.

Personal

Bob was married for 47 years to Mary Lou (deceased). He has 4 children and 7 grandchildren.  He coached Wheaton Youth Baseball for 14 years.

Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corps., from which he was honorably discharged.  He is a member of the American Legion - Wheaton Post #76.
